Trabaja como director tanto en documentales como en ficción, y como actor en teatro y cine. Entre los documentales de Ramzi se incluyen: Darrere el mur, Bajo el cielo, Naked Dreams y Defying my Disability. En ficción: Espejismo, Year of Losses, La playa roja (16mm) y La piedra de Salomón. Como actor en las siguientes películas: The Attack de Ziad Doueri, Omar de Hany Abu Assad, Writing on Snow de Rashid Masharawi, Ghost Hunting de Raed Andoni, Jeu de l’Homme de Aurélien Lambert, La piedra de Salomón de Ramzi Maqdisi, The Last Journey de Juan Meseguer, Another Point of View de Bilal Alkateeb, Pour la Cause de Hassan Benjelloun. En teatro: inició su carrera profesional como actor en el Teatro Nacional Palestino (PNT, 2000-2005). Entre sus obras con el PNT se incluyen Searching for Handalah, Jidariyya de Mahmoud Darwish y Martin Luther King. Ramzi ha trabajado internacionalmente con teatros como el Ivo Theatre (Londres), The Nordic Black Theatre (Oslo) y La Invenció Teatre (Barcelona). Ha dirigido obras en Jerusalén (Sleeping Beauty Insomnia, con Quds Art y PNT) y en Barcelona (Maduresa, con Quds Art), y su trabajo como dramaturgo se ha puesto en escena en el Northern Stage (Here is the News from Over There) y en Ensemble 52 (Aviatrix).
