Hi, I'm Antón, but almost everyone knows me by Cou. I'm an actor, screenwriter and director, my specialty: comedy. I've been in the profession for more than 20 years.

I trained in acting at Espacio Aberto, Santiago de Compostela, in non-verbal theater at HAMU in Prague, and in circus at Fundiçâo Progresso in Rio de Janeiro. Master in Scriptwriting at URJC in Madrid, Diploma in Theatrical Improvisation at Universidad del Bosque in Bogota, and Master in Theater Direction at ESMAE in Oporto. In addition, I trained in clown and impro with the best international teachers.

I have worked in theater with companies such as A Factoría, Chévere, Matarile, the CDG, the CDN or Pista Catro, of which he was founder. In series (Matalobos, Serramoura, Padre Casares, Aqui No Hay Quien Viva, Fariña, Vivir Sin Permiso, Rapa, etc) and in television programs (Luar, Mundo Verbena, Os Aspirantes, etc). I also made my own short films (Katiuska, Carreiras Secretas).

I produce and direct my own shows (Cigâní, Psicópata, Múltiple, Smart, Sonámbulo, OldPlay, Home), and also for other companies (Outono, Mezzo, etc). In my productions, I usually approach comedy from different genres, and a topic on which I research and on which I have written several articles and a thesis, is the participation of the audience.

I have been director of street theater festivals (DGorra) and impro (Imperdible, ImproMaxín), founder of the micro-theater house A Regadeira de Adela, and of the schools Circo Nove and Espontánea. Currently I direct the Master in Theatrical Improvisation of the USC F!T. I have also been a clown and impro teacher in countries such as Portugal, Brazil, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, USA, Costa Rica, Italy, Cuba, Peru, Colombia, India, Mozambique, etc.
